          Our classroom, separate from the main studio, is well-lit
     and spacious.  We offer ongoing classes throughout the
     year in a variety of media for all ages.  The classroom is
     available to rent for classes, workshops, seminars and other
     events.  Please contact us for rates and availability.

Stephanie Hart
A co-owner of Northbay ArtWorks,
Stephanie has been teaching children's
art for the past five years both at the
studio and in local schools.

Her ongoing painting and drawing
     classes run during the school year.  Students bring
     their own materials and work individually, following their
     own interests and imagination in choosing their subject
     matter. During the summer she teaches art camps
     which encompass painting and drawing in addition to
     sculpting, crafts and more.  All materials are supplied
     with the camp. Stephanie encourages students through
     experimentation, practice, self-discovery and fun to not
     only acquire an array of technical skills but also engage
     their artistic eye in seeing the relationships of colors,
     contrast and composition in creating their art.

Carol Smith Myer

In her class, students will explore the methods of seeing, interpreting and applying the principles of color and light,
as employed by the great French,
Russian and American impressionist masters, to create luminous paintings. 

     Students should bring previous work they wish to have
     critiqued.  Carol will demonstrate impressionist color and
     composition techniques from an arranged live setup.

     Nadine Gay

     Nadine is a French born professional painter, sculptor
     and ceramicist. Her works have shown extensively in
     France and in the United States.  She earned a BFA
     from Pratt Institute in NY. Over the past 15 years she
     has taught art to adults and children in various
     community programs including Youth in Arts, Leap
     Imagination in Learning, and Arts in Mental Health
     (Napa State Hospital).  She has created several public
     murals in collaboration with schools (Coleman
     Elementary, Pleasant Valley Elementary and St Isabella)
     and Napa State Hospital.
